In-home Style Boarding

If you are looking for a regular sitter and someone who can make your pet feel like they have a home away from home, look no further. We welcome your pet to a wonderful quiet environment with lots of love to share. We accept 1-3 (more if from the same family) pet guests per day so that we are able to maintain a quiet, comfortable and safe environment for your pet. Feeling a little skeptical about leaving your fur baby with strangers? Not to worry the best review will be in how happy your dog will be during their stay!

Our Home

We live in a beautiful suburban Mississauga neighbourhood, which is close to Toronto yet feels like a true escape from the city. Located only 15 minutes away from Toronto Pearson International Airport, we are conveniently located for anyone flying out and needing to leave their doggo somewhere. Typically, boarders that are friendly and playful will accompany me to the dog park and/or on group leash walks. All adventures for your pupper are customized and based on your preferences.

We strive to be a home away from home for your pooch, a vacation of their own! We provide a variety of toys, activities, treats, beds and more to comfort and spoil your pooch. We are cage-free, but do provide a XL crate for those who need it/are crate training.

While you are away, to keep connected and ensure you are having a fantastic time as well, photos and updates will be provided regularly via www.instagram.com/park_paws_walking

Requirements for Boarding

1)  Meet & Greet (First we must get to know each other!)

2) Social Compatibility (Dogs with aggressive behaviours towards dogs or people will not be permitted to stay)

3) Up-to-date vaccines and vet information

4) Pet Care Consent form to be signed

Experience

All breeds, size & temperaments

Separation anxiety

Picky eaters

Leash pulling, recall & threshold training

Dog administering medication ( needles, pills, eye drops)

Clipping, grooming and bathing ( not professionally)

Safety is number one, no matter if you are on just walks with me or boarding . All dogs that resist on a leash or look like they might slip out will be put on a martingale collar to prevent any “lost dogs” scenarios. Dogs are supervised at all times during backyard or socialization sessions.

Wishing you many sleepy snouts!
